About This Project

THE WRITER is an experimental ethnographic film part of LABOUR IN A SINGLE SHOT, a unique curation/collaboration with legendary experimental filmmaker Harun Farocki and Antje Ehmann with filmmakers in 15 cities worldwide.

Out of the films, THE WRITER was featured in the Art Philosophy textbook “Objections Forms of Abstraction” By Sven Lütticken.

Creative limitations for the project:

• Documentary

• Shot in a single frame between 1 to 2 minutes

• Investigate an aspect of labour

This film features author Kathryn Warzak.
